Our foundation is rooted in service. While serving in the U.S. Air Force, President Jim DiAngelo worked in communications and radio relays in Germany. After completing his military service, he entered the cabling industry, where he quickly recognized an opportunity to deliver stronger solutions and more responsive service by combining technical expertise with disciplined execution.

In 1997, Jim founded NCD Communications with a crew of six. Today, the company has grown to a team of 40–50 professionals serving clients across multiple states. Our first customer, Stony Brook University, remains a client today, a reflection of our long-standing relationships and commitment to adaptability.

What began as a structured cabling and fulfillment company has evolved into a comprehensive security provider, delivering integrated surveillance, access control, lockdown systems, and security software solutions tailored to each facility’s unique requirements.
